Emiliano Mondragón (Mexico City, 1996), is a contemporary painter currently based in Hamburg, Germany. His practice centers on non-realistic figurative paintings, charcoal drawings, and collages. His work investigates personal trauma through claustrophobic, dreamlike environments populated by contorted, human-like figures. Through these images, he reflects on feelings of loneliness, uncertainty, and the pressures of a hyperconnected era, all of which take place during the End of the World.
