Lisa Alonzo (b.1984,California) grew up working on her family’s Christmas tree farm in Northern California. She earned her BFA in Painting at the Academy of Art in San Francisco in 2008. After a decade in SF, she moved to Maine where she maintains a studio practice exploring themes of illusion and consumption. She has exhibited her work in the United States and Europe and is included in many collections including the 21c Museum and the Federal Reserve.
